Jock's photographic assignments have taken him around the world. He has covered everything from hurricanes and space shuttle launches, to famine in Haiti, refugees fleeing Cuba and war in the Middle East.
A 1984 graduate of The Ohio State University, Jock started his photographic career stringing for the Associated Press. He worked as a staff photographer at newspapers in Ohio and Florida before moving to Europe in 1999 to begin his freelance career. He currently splits his time between Brussels, Belgium and South Florida in the US, where he handles corporate and editorial assignments for Babylonia as well as his other clients.
Jock has an unique style, and ability to consistently capture bold, graphic images in both natural and created light, and his photographs have been published internationally in a variety of newspapers, magazines and books: The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Financial Times, The Times of London, Le Monde, Time, Newsweek, Paris Match, Der Spiegel, Bloomberg News, MSNBC.com and Wired.com, comprise just a few of Fistick's publication credits.
