TRANSLATOR & COPYWRITER
Hailing from Cambridge in the UK, our English-language translator and copywriter, Philippa P. currently lives in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and has over ten years’ experience freelance working in the field.
As a copywriter for Babylonia, Philippa tailors communications to the client’s key message and target audience. She collaborates closely with the entire creative team, from the initial brainstorming phase right through to the end of the creative process in order to ensure consistency between text and image.
Finally, she works alongside our clients to make sure that they are 100% satisfied with Babylonia's work.
As a translator, Philippa prides herself on producing translations that are both loyal to the original and the idiosyncrasies of the target language. Her recent projects have included editing a special monographic issue of the European Review (Cambridge University Press), translating and copyediting a forthcoming edition of the Palgrave series on Memory Studies, and subtitling a web-documentary series on the presidential election in Venezuela in 2012.
